Model Railroading – Open Day at All Gauge Model Railway Club


The All Gauge Model Railway Club in Brisbane is holding their Annual Public Open Day this Saturday June 10, at their Clubhouse in Carina.

Their clubhouse is one of the biggest in Queensland. Very large layouts are over the entire top floor and much of the ground floor, a total of more than 250 sq metres. Members are rostered to run their passenger and freight models of Australian, English, European and Japanese trains. In addition there will be another, separate layout for kids to operate and drive Thomas locos.

Hot and cold food and drink will be available with a gourmet “Sizzle” starting at 9:00 am.

The All Gauge Model Railway Clubhouse is in Zahel Street, Carina, Brisbane behind the swimming pool car park at the Adelaide Street end of Zahel Street. See the club website for more details and a map.

Admission: Families (two adults, parents or grandparents and four children) only $10.
Adults $5. Aged Pension Card holders $4. Children $2.
