Museum of Brisbane (MoB) is popping up in Queen Street Mall this November – and design-led theatre company (and former artist in residence at MoB) Dead Puppet Society is joining in on the fun.

The purpose-built pop-up sees Dead Puppet Society roll out its very special participatory installation that was in place at MoB, where visitors are invited to share a special memory of a place in Brisbane through a custom-made centrepiece. Designed and assembled using Dead Puppet Society’s signature computer and machine-assisted approach, the interactive installation builds an emotional map of memories, with the data collected used for future design-led storytelling.

The pop-up will also feature a curated selection from the MoB shop, including handcrafted gifts and homewares – perfect for a spot of Christmas shopping.

The MoB pop-up space at Queen Street Mall is open daily from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm until Sunday November 26.
