Triggered by proposals for new mega mines in mid-North Queensland, Mine! digs into the short-sited and self-centred behaviours that plague us.

Australian Dance Party playfully and potently push audiences to reconsider ‘yours’ ‘mine’ and ‘ours’ to avoid disastrous impacts for all. With Lego and Tonka trucks in tow, Mine! uses the mining industry to reveal a culture of short-sightedness and self-gratification via object and possession.

Originally commissioned for National Science Week ACT, Mine! has been re-imagined in 2020 for our very own Queen Streeet Mall.
