Dr Jonathon Welch AM invites men and boys of all ages to join our new Queensland season of MEN ALOUD! for Christmas 2019.

Calling all dads, brothers, uncles, grandfathers, cousins and mates!

Award winning singer and conductor of the ABC TV smash hit Choir of Hard Knocks, Dr Jonathon Welch AM, invites you to join a very special choir for men and boys of all ages that will rehearse leading up to a Christmas performance on Sunday 8th December in Brisbane. This national initiative fosters a dialogue around mental health as we sing in support of our men and boys!

A program of ‘Play It Forward’ presenting inclusive arts programs for all Australians, MEN ALOUD! was founded by Dr Welch to help create a positive, safe space where men and boys could come and explore their singing voices, help build positive mental and physical well being and develop supportive friendships through music.

Rehearsals between 4:00–6:00 pm
Sunday 20th October
Sunday 10th November
Sunday 1st December

Performance – Sunday 8th December
3:00 pm – Rehearsal
5:00 pm – Concert with family & friends
7:00 pm – Dinner and drinks to celebrate after the concert
