Me & Robin Hood

Me & Robin Hood is the second in a series of solo shows from Hoipolloi’s award-winning Artistic Director, Shôn Dale-Jones and questions the value of art and the power of story. This is a one-man-play with heart and meaning about Shôn’s longstanding relationship with his favourite fictional friend that seeks to raise money for charity.

Shôn first met Robin Hood in the autumn of 1975, as a seven-year-old-boy and they have been good mates ever since. Robin’s been going crazy recently about the direction our world is heading. He can’t believe there hasn’t been a bigger reaction to all the madness since Brexit and Donald Trump moved into The White House. This show is his idea. He’s convinced we need to change the story of money and share the opportunity we’ve been given if we really want to do something about the growing gap between rich and poor.

And please bring cash to the show, as Robin says we have more work to do to change this story.
