Matilda The Musical is the multi-award winning musical from the Royal Shakespeare Company, inspired by the genius of Roald Dahl. With book by Dennis Kelly and original songs by Tim Minchin, Matilda The Musical has won more than 50 international awards, including 13 for best musical.

Matilda follows the titular character as she dreams of breaking free from her belittling parents and wicked school headmaster. With a little help from her friends and the ever-sweet Miss Honey, Matilda takes a stand to turn her destiny around.

After a hugely successful and acclaimed Sydney season, Matilda continues to delight audiences in Melbourne, London and on Broadway before arriving at the Lyric Theatre QPAC in November.
