Mammoth Stampede for Artisan

Mammoth Stampede for Artisan

Drink craft beer with a conscience with knock-off schmiddies that count at Mammoth Stampede for Artisan. Every single Friday in November, Woolly Mammoth Alehouse will be tapping their kegs for not-for-profit organisation Artisan, Queensland’s Centre for Craft and Design.

Priding itself on having a strong, local community focus, the Mammoth launched a unique initiative in December 2014 known as Mammoth Stampede. From 4:00 pm every Friday afternoon since, Woolly Mammoth has been tapping a keg of Mammoth Lager and selling it to customers for a price they want to pay for each glass, with all proceeds directly donated to charities.

The current recipient of this initiative is Artisan, who are dedicated to the presentation and advancement of authentic and innovative design practice. Artisan presents, promotes and celebrates excellence in creative endeavours through vibrant, high-quality exhibitions, online and in store retail, education, public programs, workshops and much more!

However, to continue to develop and enrich cultural life in Queensland, Artisan needs the support from people like you. So when you’re tossing up where to go for knock off drinks, remember you can head to the Mammoth Stampede and enjoy a cold one with the knowledge that every glass counts towards a wonderful and creative cause.
