Come along to the special in-conversation on the opening weekend of ”Lure of the Sun: Charles Blackman in Queensland’, join Meredith McKinney, daughter of poet and activist Judith Wright and philosopher and novelist J.P. McKinney, in conversation with Michael Hawker, Associate Curator, Australian Art, for insights into Brisbane’s literary and art circles of the 1950s and ’60s and reflections on the influence of writers and literature on Blackman’s practice. Entry is free.
