English singer-songwriter and UK X Factor favourite Lucy Spraggan is heading to Australia for the first time this April, with her debut tour to feature a series of intimate shows across Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney. Lucy, who is synonymous with the melodic middle ground where pop and acoustic folk meet, will be in Brisbane for one night only, hitting the stage at The Outpost in Fortitude Valley on Tuesday April 28.
With five albums under her belt, Lucy Spraggan is touted as the rarest of things – a genuine singer-songwriter to emerge from the TV talent show scene – her toe-tapping interpretations of classic sounds and harmony-heavy ballads that she pulls from modern rhythm and blues are hard to forget. Get your ears ready hear her stellar cover version of the Proclaimers classic hit “I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles)”.
