Lord Mayor’s Photographic Award 2018
Are you a Brisbane resident with an eye for photography? The Lord Mayor’s Photographic Awards are back again this year and are better than ever. The annual awards are a chance for local Brisbane residents to share their creative talent by capturing and sharing images of Brisbane’s unique characteristics, hidden gems or iconic features. The competition encourages all creative talent, both amateur and professional.
This year, there are even more opportunities to win with a total prize pool of $14,000 on offer. With six prizes ranging from $1000–$5000 you can submit your photographs of Brisbane by visiting lmpa.brisbane.qld.gov.au or, for the first time, this year you can enter using the hashtag #LMPA2018 via Instagram. Once you’ve shared your image with the hashtag, be sure to head to the website to accept the terms and conditions to validate your entry. Submissions for the 2018 competition open at 10:00 am on Wednesday 11 July 2018 for a four-week period and close at 5:00 pm Wednesday 8 August 2018.
To enter, simply take a photo that celebrates Brisbane as an expressive, enthusiastic, and energetic city and submit it via the Lord Mayor’s Photographic Awards website or share via Instagram with the hashtag #LMPA2018. The entry period is open now, don’t miss your chance to win!
