Lord Mayor's City Hall Concerts: Tribute Concert for Donald Hall

Lord Mayor’s City Hall Concerts: Tribute Concert for Donald Hall

For over two decades, harpist, pianist, Mozart maverick and lover of Shakespeare's shenanigans Donald Hall, captivated and enchanted audiences of this concert series. His mastery of his instruments, his  passion, and his unique ability to create immediate rapport and share his knowledge with his audiences endeared him to thousands of music-lovers over the years.

Donald passed away in January, and this concert, originally intended to feature Donald's group Fool's Errand, has now become a celebration of his contribution to this concert series. His original work, along with music he loved, will be performed by an array of Queensland's finest musicians and singers.

Included in the line-up are Spanish classical guitarist Andrew Veivers, harpist Nicole Tate, the Fool's Errand ensemble featuring Eugenie Costello, Danielle Bentley, Tom Adeney and actor Eugene Gilfedder, cabaret artist Annie Lee and a choir directed by Erin Murphy, along with many more special guests. We hope you can join this exceptional cast of performers to  honour the life of Donald Hall and his amazing contribution to the music-lovers of this city.
