**This event is now scheduled for Tuesday 13 April 2021**
Samuel Giddy has played a significant role in the Australian organ scene for the past few years. After studying piano with Israeli pianist Arnan Wiesel, Giddy began organ lessons with Philip Swanton in 2011. He gained his Licentiate in organ with distinction at age fifteen. Two years later, he commenced at the Sydney Conservatorium, majoring in organ performance and graduating in 2019. During this time, he served at St Mark’s, Darling Point, at St Paul’s, Burwood, and in his current role at St Andrew’s Cathedral. In 2019, he undertook a recital tour of England and was also a finalist in the Silbermann Competition in Freiberg, Germany.

Alongside his musical schedule of performing, teaching, and liturgical playing, Giddy is currently undertaking a ministry traineeship at St Barnabas’ Anglican Church, Broadway.
