Lord Mayor’s Christmas Carols
Can you hear those sleigh bells ringing? It’s because the Lord Mayor’s Christmas Carols have rolled into town with a whole host of stars set to make the evening magical, set to take over Riverstage on Saturday December 11 from 4:00 pm.
This much-loved free family event will see a variety of incredible Australian singers and entertainers ignite the big stage in this joyous and magical celebration of Christmas.
Hosted by Brisbane’s very own Queen of Christmas Naomi Price, the superstar cast of local luminaries includes Kate Miller-Heidke, Sheppard, Troy and Jem Cassar-Daley, Marcus Corowa, Luke Kennedy, Lucy Maunder and Mat Verevis plus an extra-special appearance from true-blue Queensland icons Bluey and Bingo in a world-first performance backed by a live orchestra.
The two-hour program will also feature a 20-strong kick line of Queensland’s best professional dancers choreographed by Kate Wormald (Happy Feet, GC2018 Commonwealth Games) and will include a yuletide message from a major international star.
The star-studded line-up will be singing everyone’s favourite classic carols and setting the tone for a wonderful Christmas time.
Tickets will be available to snag via Ticketmaster for $5 on Wednesday December 1, and the show will be broadcast on Channel 9 on December 19.
