Live At The Lodge

Live At The Lodge

Valley Heat Records’ monthly series ‘Live At The Lodge’ returns for its seventh instalment featuring sombre songstress Moodie Gloom, abstract instrumentalist Edith Thomas Furey and ambient electronica buttonsmith Riverine.

Including:
Moodie Gloom is the solo project of local Brisbane songwriter Madalene. Most recently inspired by artists like Moses Sumney and Solange, she is working on taking her music into a more ambient-electronic space. Her live performance is still heavily inspired by her anti-folk roots. She also has a lot of hair.
Edith Thomas Furey is a Brisbane musician; vertebrate; cupboard scientist; basil raconteur; confused; pedestrian; drawn with a very fine camel hair brush; moderately affable.
Riverine is the solo project of ambient electronica producer Kieran Fergusson. Drawing influence from film composers, Radiohead and Flume, his unique cinematic soundscapes will have you dancing around in your room in a tearful mess. Though the Brisbanite is only just kicking this shindig off, it is unanimous that the 20 year old has unmatched potential.

Free entry from 7pm.
