Presented by QMusic and Brisbane City Council, Little BIGSOUND returns in 2018 with a jam-packed program on Saturday November 10, providing a full day of hands-on experiences for 15–25 year olds looking to gain real life skills, meet industry experts, and build their local music scene.

Hosted by State Library of Queensland (SLQ) the program will take over The Edge’s state of the art facilities between 10:00 am and 4:00 pm where participants will be able to choose from a variety of sessions and workshops, providing a unique opportunity for young artist and aspiring industry to gain the practical skills and relationships they need to get started in the music industry.

QMusic is excited to announce Marie DeVita, frontwoman of WAAX, one the most thrilling bands to come out of Brisbane, as the Mini Keynote speaker for Little BIGSOUND 2018. DeVita will share her journey touching on her personal, creative and industry experiences, performing some of the most raw and unhinged shows on stages across the country.

Music software company Ableton has again partnered with Little BIGSOUND to provide access to a suite of the latest technology to experiment with on the day. The Edge’s Digital Media Lab will transform into The Ableton Live studio; where attendees can get hands-on and make music using the next generation of production software and live instrumentation.

Little BIGSOUND will put you in direct contact with the local influencers that can help you get your first gigs, publicise your music, improve your songwriting or music production, and manage your career development.
