Enjoy listening to the pleasures and skills involved in growing mushrooms in an urban environment, followed by a three course lunch featuring Little Acre Gourmet Mushrooms.
The price includes a home mushroom kit so you can begin your own fungi growing adventures.
Over lunch, enjoy a story from Executive Chef Glen Barratt on his passion for gourmet mushrooms and how he incorporated them into the days menu.
ABOUT LITTLE ACRE MUSHROOMS
Passionate about local food production and sustainable agriculture, Amy and Mickey started Little Acre Gourmet Mushrooms out of a modified shipping container in West End in early 2018.
After growing over a tonne of mushrooms last year they are proving that you can grow a significant amount of high quality produce smack bang in the middle of the city, lowering food miles and supplying a local source of gourmet mushrooms to Brisbane’s restaurant scene.
As well as farming commercially, Amy and Mickey run classes, teaching simple ways you can grow your own gourmet mushrooms at home.
