Lose yourself in an after-dark oasis of botanical brilliance for the Brisbane Festival event – Lightscape. From August 31 to October 12, the City Botanic Gardens will light up when the sun goes down, becoming a technicolour wonderland of music and light, designed and curated to highlight the park’s unique features. The self-guided tour takes you on a 2-km trail under glowing tree canopies filled with colour, through sparkling tunnels of shimmering light, and alongside neon roots bursting from the undergrowth – made all the more spellbinding with the trickling of soundscape throughout.
