League of Legends will be holding the biggest e-sports event to ever hit Brisbane – the 2016 OPL Grand Final – on August 13 at The Courier-Mail Piazza. Pre-event activities will kick off at 2:00 pm and there’s loads to see and do – pro-player signings, a dunk tank and photo opportunities are a great way to get in the mood for the impending battle. There’s also a community stage, which will showcase some of Australia’s best League of Legends cosplayers.

The main event starts at 5:30 pm, when Oceania’s two best e-sports teams will duke it out in a best-of-5 showdown in front of over 2000 spectators and tens of thousands of fans online, for the chance to progress to the World Championship Qualifiers in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
