LEAF Logan Eco Action Festival

Australia’s favourite gardener Costa Georgiadis, host of Gardening Australia, will be planting fresh ideas on sustainable living when the ABC TV host appears at this year’s Logan Eco-Action Festival (LEAF) on Sunday May 28.

The free festival has been running since 2010, attracting thousands of eco-friendly guests annually partaking in workshops on keeping backyard chickens, bee-keeping and sustainable lifestyles. The kids can take part in new exercise sensation Konga or visit the adrenaline zone for rock climbing and jumping castles, while mum learns the art of DIY kimchi, cheese and sugar free jams, and dad tackles a lesson in upcycling.

Indulge in the best organic food and coffee, browse the native plant stalls, or visit the health and wellness centre. Blues and roots musician Ash Grunwald heads the live music lineup, with local bands The Twine providing entertainment throughout the day.
