LEAF – Logan Eco Action Festival
Looking for a free fun day out where you and the kids can learn the latest tips on living more sustainably? Head down the M1 to LEAF, Logan’s Eco Action Festival on Sunday 26 May at Griffith University’s Logan Campus Meadowbrook.
This year, everyone’s favourite gardener Costa Georgiadis, host of Gardening Australia and Get Grubby TV returns to LEAF to join paddock to plate chef Bruno Loubet and hundreds of eco-exhibitors.
Hear from our celebrities and exhibitors on easy ways to reduce your family’s environmental footprint.
Join in a free workshop and learn how to make cheese, grow great herbs, keep backyard chooks, learn how to keep native bees or make a kokedama. There’s heaps to see and do. Plus there is plenty of hands-on activity for the kids including making a clay keepsake bowl, or watching Science on the GO and Geckoes Wildlife show. And best of all, it’s all free!
Round out your day enjoying a feed from the food trucks and listening to live music from Pocketlove, Hot Potato Band and the Twine. Mark yourself going on Facebook today to keep up-to-date.
