Land Rover Polo in the City is the largest polo series in the world and is staged by Urban Polo Events. This is Urban Polo’s 14th year of staging these events in the heart of Australian Cities.

Guests can mingle with players, VIPs and celebrities, stomp the divots, savour the fashion, and soak up the ambience. No wonder polo is the world’s fastest-growing spectator sport!

Blending the elegance and style of a five-star picnic, with champagne and delectable dining, along with a front-row vantage point for compelling competition that captivates even newcomers to the sport, this is the social (and networking) event of the year.

There will be two games, the famed divot stomp and men’s and women’s dash – always a much anticipated part of the program! Sensational prizes are on offer for men and women in Fashion on the Field, so ditch your fascinators and stilettos for sun hats, fedoras, boaters, boots and wedges. Men will be in their sartorial element in dapper summer jackets, shorts and loafers.

Guests arrive at 11:00 am and the fun at the polo field ends at 5:00 pm, and then it is onto the after party to continue the polo party!

Corporate marquees are ideal for businesses to host clients ahead of a hectic Christmas season, representing exceptional value at $3,680 for 30 people within the Lounge Precinct
in branded private marquee, with various catering options available.

The VIP Marquee is located in the middle of the action and is the exclusive venue for VIPs, sponsors and Urban Polo Association Members. Limited tickets are also available to the public by invitation for $330.

The Honolulu Polo Club will celebrate a Hawaiian theme this year in honour of Nano Graci-da, and will be the premium food and beverage inclusive option for the public, at $220 per ticket.

The Maui Polo Lounge, also with a nod to Hawaii, exudes hipster cool, with Instagrammable backdrops, great views of the polo and bar, catering and entertainment all day. $86 per tickets will secure entry into this vibrant hospitality option.

URBAN POLO EVENTS
There is only one Urban Polo circuit, now in its 15th year, comprising 10 events, making it the largest of its kind in the world. Urban Polo is the creation of Janek Gazecki, who saw an appetite for a more accessible form of the sport in a compact format ideal for urban areas, with modified rules and a more social, laid back ambience. The suite of events includes the Land Rover Polo in the City event held in Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth and Adelaide; Polo by the Sea — Gold Coast and Sydney’s Palm Beach; Beach Polo in Adelaide and, new last year, Polo in the Vines in the beautiful Hunter Valley as well as Polo Up Polo events in Rockhampton and Bundaberg.
