Kokedamas & Sip on behalf of Carbon Positive Australia

Learn how to make a kokedama moss ball in this fun and relaxing workshop that will reconnect you with nature and your besties whilst supporting two great causes!

Kokedamas are hanging Japanese moss balls where plant roots are wrapped in moss, bound by string and suspended. Your teacher will guide you through the process of making your own DIY kokedama and you’ll gain tips and tricks on soil composition, the best plants for kokedama and string tying techniques.

While you’re getting your hands dirty, we encourage you to slow down, share stories and take the opportunity to connect with others. We aim to provide a beautiful experience so that anyone who attends our workshops can leave feeling empowered by their newfound knowledge and skills.

By the end of the workshop, you’ll have your very own DIY kokedama to take home and all the skills to continue making plenty of kokedama babies.
