Kara Rosenlund is an acclaimed photographer and stylist who has been hailed by Interiors bible Elle UK as ‘the next Martha Stewart’. Kara has worked with the likes of Madonna and brands like Freedom throughout her career, and has shot countless advertising campaigns and magazine covers here and overseas. Shelter – How Australians Live is Kara’s forthcoming book, showcasing Kara’s travels for over a year-long period around Australia to some of the most regional and remote parts, photographing peoples ‘shelters’ or homes – including Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland and Tasmania. To celebrate the book’s launch, Kara is hosting a free pop-up event in Brisbane on Saturday November 14 where people can meet her, have a glass of wine (or beer), have a book signed or buy a print of her work.
