Kaesler Winter Wine Dinner

Kaesler Winter Wine Dinner

At Pig ‘N’ Whistle Indooroopilly we believe one of the best ways to stay warm during the colder months in Brisbane is to drink wine – fine wine – eat indulgent food and bask in great company.

This August Pig ‘N’ Whistle Indooroopilly are hosting a four course dinner in partnership with Kaesler Winery; a winery established over 100 years ago in the Barossa Valley.

+ Thursday 2 August from 6:30 pm
+ Four courses with four premium matched wines from Kaesler Wines
+ Winemaker Stephen Dew will be at the event, guiding guests through the history of the winery and how each of the wines come to fruition at Kaesler Winery

This event is a fantastic opportunity to become intimately acquainted with what it takes to make exceptional wine, and the thought process that goes into matching fine wine with a fabulously tailored five course menu. The menu will feature produce sourced directly from the Barossa region.

ABOUT KAESLER WINERY
The Kaesler family were pioneers who settled in the Barossa Valley in the 1840s. In 1891 they bought a parcel of land and in 1893 planted their first vines. In 1999, winemaker Reid Bosward seized the opportunity to become the head of the new Kaesler family when he and his partners bought Kaesler, becoming just the third owners of the property.

Today more than 70% of the red wine produced at Kaesler are made from vines over 50 years of age, including the Old Bastard Vineyard planted in 1893 and the Alte Reben Vineyard, planted in 1899.
