For Joanna Davies, it’s all about bringing energy and emotion to the forefront with her paintings. This body of work initially revolved around the words ‘Life Size’.

“ I wanted to bring life size figures and scenes into people’s homes.
I wanted them to feel like they were part of the scene,
and to feel surrounded by the vitality and spirit of the paintings.”

The pieces in Life Size are filled with texture and immediacy and bring joy and sentiment into a space, which is refreshing.
