In 1998 Sting invited Rebello to join his band following the death of Kenny Kirkland. He toured with Sting for the next six years and recorded three albums (Brand New Day, All This Time and Sacred Love). He then became a member of Jeff Beck’s band, touring for six years and recording three albums. During these years with Sting and Beck, Rebello also worked with Des’ree, Mica Paris, Carleen Anderson, Manu Katché, Phil Collins, and Peter Gabriel. He has recorded with Wayne Shorter and worked as a sideman for James Moody, Bud Shank, Gary Burton and teaches at Guildhall School of Music. He has received awards for Album of the Year (British Jazz Awards) and Best Piano (2016 British Jazz Awards).
