Paw Party

If you and your pooch are ready to give tired, dusty dog parks the flick, head to Flagstone for the opening of Queensland’s newest water playground … for dogs! The exciting new park opens with a free Paw party on Saturday August 19, from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm.

Test your pooch over the obstacle course, spoil your puppy in the pamper centre, take a snap with your bestie in the doggy photo booth, or kick back and just enjoy the atmosphere with live entertainment, food trucks and more!

The RSPCA will be on site with rescue animals and giveaways to celebrate Cupcake Day on Monday 21 August. It’s a sweet way for bakers and sugar lovers everywhere to help rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome the 135,000 animals that come through RSPCA shelters every year.

The new doggie playground features spouts of bubbly water that shoot from the ground at the push of a button, dog tunnels weaving through cave-like heaped rocks opening out to green grassy mounds and play equipment, like tennis ball trees made of locally felled tree stumps. A meandering pathway and shelters with seating, ensure that the environment is just as comfortable for people as it is exciting for dogs.

Spend a pawfect day at Flagstone – the city of the future in the heart of Logan. It’s just 50 minutes’ drive from Brisbane and the Gold Coast. Follow the signs from Teviott Road off Mt Lindsay Highway … and don’t forget to bring your puppy!

RSVP on our paw party Facebook page for the latest event updates.
