Following the success of its pop-up cannoli bar around Easter, the gang from Locale in Newstead has decided to give us all a taste of freedom once again with its Italian Street Food Pop-up!

The one-day-only affair will see the kitchen cranking out authentic Italian eats – you can choose a combo of four types of Sicilian arancini, two flavours of Roman maritozzi buns (an absolute game changer, FYI), and a caprese focaccia that will transport your tastebuds to the Amalfi Coast. Yep, we might not be able to travel just yet but we can sure as heck go on a culinary journey.

As we’re not out of the social-distancing woods just yet, the team at Locale is operating its Italian Street Food Pop-up on a strictly pre-order basis. There will be two pick-up sessions on Saturday May 9, a lunch session between 11:00 am to 1:00 pm and then a dinner session from 5:00–7:00 pm. Upon ordering you will receive a collection time, meaning that it’s a super streamlined process and nobody misses out. Win-win!
