Ipswich Festival

The two-week long Ipswich Festival is the Ipswich community’s pre-eminent event in which all sectors of the community – mum-and-dad grass roots, amateur and special interest groups, amateur and semi-professional arts, historical and cultural groups, aspirants and the accomplished, and businesses of every persuasion – are invited to participate and contribute.

Enjoy fireworks over the Bremer River, a parade of lanterns, hilarious cabaret, public art, culinary delights, free family-friendly activities and much more from April 7–24. The festival is especially significant in that the majority of the events are totally free.
