The Language Exchange at the Annerley Community Bookshop is a casual fortnightly gathering open to speakers of all languages and levels of skill. Have fun practising a foreign tongue, whether you’re a native speaker, a self-taught learner, or you studied the language at school many years ago.

Speakers of all languages and levels of skill are encouraged. Spanish, French and German are confirmed for our starting session of January 6 and we expect more on the night. If you said your new year’s resolution was to learn a new language, here’s your chance to pick up some tips from those in the know.
