International Jazz Day @ South Bank Parklands
From dulcet tones to boistress brass – South Bank Parklands will be buzzing with jazz music on Saturday April 30, to celebrate International Jazz Day.
Taking over the free City Sounds live music program for the day, visitors can chill out to a performance by local songstress Tenille West, or bop along to the swanky tunes of Red Bop jazz quartet.
International Jazz Day is a UNESCO and United Nations initiative that recognizes jazz music’s diplomatic role in promoting peace, freedom of expression, gender equality and uniting people in all corners of the globe.
Come along and celebrate International Jazz Day at South Bank Parklands, from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm on the Little Stanley Street Lawns. Entry is free.
