Indooroopilly Shopping Centre is inviting your little bakers to embark on the sweetest adventure these school holidays at Indro Bakehouse, where creativity and play come together in the most delicious way.

Indro Bakehouse encourages kids to ignite their inner culinary artistry in an educational, engaging and fun-filled space. Each 20 minute workshop invites six mini bakers into Indro Bakehouse where they will put on their apron and chef’s hat, and be guided by our Bakehouse facilitators to learn about food safety, practise new skills and unleash their creativity while creating a sweet treat to take home and enjoy.

Week 1: Donut Decorating (September 14 – 22)
Thanks to Donut King, each young baker will start with a plain donut and transform it into a colourful masterpiece using a variety of frostings and toppings. Kids will learn to mix colours, spread icing, and experiment with creative decorations. And of course, they’ll get to taste their delicious creation!

Week 2: Dessert Kebabs (GF) (September 23 – 29)
This week features fruity Dessert Kebabs! Kids will cut and arrange a selection of fruits and marshmallows onto skewers, finishing with a drizzle of chocolate and sprinkle on top. They’ll learn knife safety, practise cutting skills, and perfect the art of skewer threading.

Don’t forget to also explore our Bakehouse Sweet Play Zone for lots of laughter and excitement. Slide into our marshmallow cloud ball pit, toss the donut ring and play connect four lolly-style.
