Haven Goes Vegan

Haven Goes Vegan

Haven Newstead is supporting ethical food production with its first ever Haven Goes Vegan event, which will be held from Tuesday March 17 to Sunday March 29. Local Haven restaurants will be injecting creativity, fun and life into the fortnight fling to deliver some very special experiences.

Here’s a taste of what’s on offer at Haven Newstead:
Tuesday March 17 – Salt Meats Cheese will expand on its already popular ‘All You Can Eat Pizza Pasta Vegan Night’.

Saturday March 21 – e’cco Bistro will kick off the event with a Long Table Vegan Lunch from 12:00–3:00 pm. Betty’s Burgers will continue to spread the plant-based love with its vegan burger for $12.50, vegan fries for $5, spicy vegan sauce for $2, and garden salad with an optional crispy vegan patty for $16. Cheeky Poké is also offering an exclusive vegan ‘smoked salmon’ with falafel and teriyaki tempeh poke bowl.

Saturday March 21 to Sunday March 29 – Short Order Kitchen by Jocelyn’s Provisions will launch an exclusive sesame marinated tofu and rice noodle salad. Best enjoyed with a slice of vegan chocolate cake and a special limited-time soy latte.

Sunday March 29 – Salt Meats Cheese will ‘go green’ with an Italian vegan cuisine masterclass by vegetarian, yoga teacher and head chef Silvio Bazzanella. Silvio will teach the essentials in vegan ingredients and ethical food practices in Italian cooking. You’ll learn the secrets to a vegan dip, the fluffiest vegan gnocchi and indulge in a simple healthy vegan dessert. Tickets are $89.

Make way Haven Newstead to feast on some flavourful vegan food!
