Known for their community projects with refugee girls, at-risk youth and early dementia patients, Groove Therapy have been running sell-out adult dance classes in Sydney and Melbourne. Now the gang are bringing their grooves to Queensland, launching in both Brisbane and the Gold Coast. Held at Latvian Hall, you’ll spend 60 minutes learning dance floor moves whilst a live DJ spins tunes. Practical life skills, guys!

Groove Therapy’s Director Vanessa Marian has trained under the OGs of hip hop across the world and is an advocate for getting off our screens and into our bodies. Brisbane’s Groove Therapist is led by activist and dancer Wanida Serce, your next girl crush who is a leading female in the Queensland dance community. When she’s not teaching hip hop to young teens and adults with disabilities, she’s representing for the ladies in dance battles, alongside being a total boss creating opportunities for her community by directing, choreographing and performing her own sell-out shows.
