GreazeFest Kustom Kulture Festival 2016
The hotly anticipated GreazeFest Kustom Kulture Festival is set to rock and roll back into Brisbane, giving rockabilly lovers their annual injection of high-octane entertainment. From August 5–7, the iconic GreazeFest Brisbane event will kick off for its 17th year at the new location of Cleveland Showgrounds – a spacious venue to welcome the growing popularity of this super slick spectacular.
Presented by Robot Productions, the event takes place over two consecutive weekends with more than 15,000 retro fans flocking in to celebrate the distinctly vibrant culture and rocking sounds that are reminiscent of the 1950s era. The all-killer no-filler festival is a celebration of many key components of kustom kulture. There’s a huge selection of activities to get you going – live rockabilly bands, jive dancing, art demonstrations, tattooing, tiki carving, pinup glamour and fashion, and more than 500 dazzling chromed-up hot rods are just a taste of what’s on offer.
As an added bonus, international pinup icon and serial babe Sabina Kelley will be hitting up the festival to meet and greet her fans. Whether you’re a die-hard rock’n’rolla or a rockabilly newbie, GreazeFest is a guaranteed good time.
