Great Brisbane Bike Ride

Great Brisbane Bike Ride

Join thousands of riders and follow the Brisbane river as it snakes through our great city for the Great Brisbane Bike Ride. Cruise through Brisbane on some closed roads and closed lanes as you rider over the Gateway Bridge, along the Inner City Bypass and take in the beautiful Mt Coot-tha if you choose to.

The Great Brisbane Bike Ride has a challenge for everyone. Riders can choose from 10km, 40km, 75km or 110km routes (all starting and finishing on Riverside Drive at West End), with the Coot-tha Challenge optional for 75km and 110km route riders

Free event photos and event t-shirts (for 40km/75km/110km participants) return again this year, along with awesome on-route support including traccic control, rest stops, snacks and drinks.

For the bravest riders, the famed Coot-tha Challenge awaits. It’s a timed, 2.3km, 9% climb up and over the mountain that many riders tackle as their annual personal challenge. All 75km and 110km riders receive a timing chip, so you can decide if you’ll take up the challenge when you get there!

Don’t forget, the first time ever the GBBR has been granted exclusive use of the Moggill Ferry during the event. So 110km riders will cruise across the river like a VIP without any cars on-board the ferry!
