Regional Flavours’ first event of the year, Grazed and Grown, will shine a spotlight on our country’s unique landscape, homegrown makers and game-changing chefs. The jam-packed weekend launches with a special culinary event hosted by celebrity chef Alastair McLeod and beer brainiac Matt Kirkegaard. The dynamite duo will run event-goers through cooking demonstrations and talks with industry leaders – including Matt Sinclair, Josh Lopez, Will Cowper and more – who will delve into the importance of seasonal produce, food philosophy and sustainability.

Once your noggin has been filled with some fun food facts, you can fill your belly with delectable bites in The Marketplace, a food hall filled with local producers and artisans who come from within 250 kilometres of Brisbane – some even calling South Bank home. Along the riverfront you’ll find musicians churning out live tunes as well as a selection of flowing craft beers and cocktails. If you really want to go all out, upgrade your ticket and indulge in an exclusively catered event at River Quay and treat your taste goblet to some world-class flavoursome fare – all made using local, seasonal and sustainable produce.

Spanning across three months, Regional Flavours will also be highlighting the city’s rich multicultural diversity and cuisine at Global Fiesta (August 20–22) and will transform South Bank into a delicatessen haven, celebrating wine, cheese, and chocolate for Providore Park (October 15–17)Hungry for more?
