GOMA Turns 10

GOMA Turns 10

Since its creation, GOMA has been known as a place where people come together to be inspired and imaginations spark. It is a place where ideas meet. This summer will be jam packed with even more excitement as GOMA Turns 10, so it’s time to celebrate!

This milestone for GOMA and Brisbane is being marked by a new public artwork by Queensland Indigenous artist Judy Watson, and major free exhibitions. Lucent showcases art of Australia and the Pacific, the second second chapter of A World View: The Tim Fairfax Gift is revealed, and the spectacular Sugar Spin: you, me, art and everything features more than 200 contemporary artworks exploring light, space, architecture and the senses.

There will be a huge weekend of celebrations to kick things off, as well as a special party to give lucky art lovers a first look at what’s on offer for the season ahead.
