Go Play Tabletop Gaming Convention Brisbane

Go Play Tabletop Gaming Convention Brisbane

Brisbane’s tabletop gaming convention, Go Play, celebrates a decade of bringing new players to the table with an epic two days of free role-playing and story games at The Edge in South Brisbane. Take on the role of a courageous rodent defending their kingdom in Mouse Guard, join a pirate crew to face the dreaded Kraken in 7th Sea, solve high school mysteries in Bubblegumshoe, or go for old school dungeon delving in Dungeons & Dragons. Go Play features all this and more, including local game designers presenting their home-brewed game designs.

With games for all ages and interests, Go Play is an inclusive and supportive space where everyone is welcome. Go Play’s friendly Game Masters are ready to help out newcomers, so new players can learn the rules as they play. Go Play’s Hearth Wardens watch over the day to ensure the convention’s code of conduct is adhered to and everyone feels safe.

The wildly creative scope of games on offer means there’s bound to be a perfect adventure for experienced gamers and those looking to dip their toe in the polyhedral dice pool.

Go Play is free at The Edge, State Library of Queensland, South Brisbane from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm on Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 September.

Registration is recommended to reserve a spot for your games of choice.
