There’s nothing quite like lounging around in the sun with some snacks and a soundtrack of live tunes – it’s the perfect weekend vibe. Every fourth Saturday of the month from 12:00–4:00 pm, the lush City Botanic Gardens will come alive for Gigs and Picnics, with the sounds of free live tunes galore, making it the perfect spot to pull up a chair (or blanket) and soak up some winter rays. Bring along your friends, family or fur-baby for a fantastic day out in The City. If you’re not feeling the make-your-own picnic vibes, don’t fret – each session will feature one sweet and one savoury food truck to cater to your snacking whims.
