Sani-seeking folk of Brisbane, your prayers have been answered – this weekend, a drive-through pop-up will open to the public at Woolloongabba, specifically to distribute hand sanitiser!

Created by the team behind Brisbane car-park disruptor Get Parked, brand-new business Get Sanitised will be hawking hospital-grade sanitiser made locally in West End by Brisbane Distillery.

The pop-up will be a drive-through, contactless facility selling sanitiser in a variety of sizes. Purchases can be made online prior or you can just swing by on one of the pop-up days.

For a little extra sweetness on Easter Sunday, each sanitiser purchase will come with free Easter eggs for the kids which will all be delivered in a social-distance appropriate method – having the eggs rolled down a 1.5-m tube to each child in the car! Kids will also be delighted by a giant bunny hopping around on the day, bringing a little Easter cheer to otherwise solitary Easter celebrations.

The sanitiser for sale is hospital-grade (made of 80% alcohol) and kills 99.99% of germs and bacteria. It is also a non-gel formula – no sticky residue here! Made by Brisbane Distillery in nearby West End, the product has been designed to support the Brisbane community through making sanitiser more widely available. As if that’s not enough of a feel-good vibe, Get Sanitised will also be an employment opportunity for those who have recently lost jobs.

This pop-up won’t be the last you see of Get Sanitised – the brand also has plans to open additional drive-throughs in North Brisbane as well as in the Sunshine Coast and Gold Coast areas, so let your mates know.
