Hailing from Arnhem Land, Stanley ‘Gawurra’ Gaykamangu is a Yolngu performer known for his deeply resonate voice and musical sensitivity.

His album titled Ratja Yaliyali [pronounced Rart-ja yarl-i yarl-i] won four National Indigenous Music Awards for Album of the Year, New Talent of the Year, Cover Art and Film, hitting #1 on the iTunes world music chart in Australia.

As well as his debut performance at Brisbane Powerhouse, Gawurra will perform at the upcoming Walking With Spirits Festival, Garma Festival and will support Peter Garrett at Darwin Festival.
