Alliance Francaise has launched a series of 5 friendly talks on French art led by Florence Thiriot (teacher at Alliance Francaise and art specialist). These informal talks (presented in English) are 45 minutes long and will introduce French painting from mid XIX to early XX centuries, a period of immense creativity that saw the birth of Modern Art. Attendees are encouraged to mingle with each other and the teacher, over a glass of fine French red or white wine.
