It’s riesling’s turn to take over Fortitude Valley, with lush urban beer garden the Osbourne Hotel hosting a celebration of all things pertaining to the grape variety from April 14–May 19! Alongside four expertly curated events, For the Love
of Riesling will feature a dedicated Riesling menu, shining a spotlight on Australia’s leading Riesling producers during Autumn! Chilling down the fresh fruitiness of riesling for a unique warm-weather bev, the new Friesling (frozen riesling) is the slightly older sister of frosé (with the very same Instagram potential).

The curated list of riesling-focused events will celebrate the growing popularity of the grape, with bottomless long lunches to dessert pairings that will bring even the most die-hard rosé drinkers around to the refreshing drop. Osbourne Hotel’s For the Love of Riesling is an unmissable series for serious wine fans, foodies, and bottomless bevy lovers alike!

The festivities kick off on Sunday April 14, with a laid-back long lunch allowing diners the chance to experience award-winning riesling from acclaimed South Australian winery Kilikanoon Wines. On Wednesday May 1, join wine guru David Bone for a riesling masterclass to explore the flavoursome potential of the misunderstood variety. On Thursday May 2, join Tim Hampton from Pure Wines for a riesling and dessert pairing to satisfy that sweet tooth. Finally, the Autumn Harvest event on Sunday May 19 is set to be a tasting extravaganza with sumptuous Asian bites to pair perfectly with a range of Aussie rieslings.
