Hot on the heels of Footlight’s themed cabarets Jazz & Tonic and Sirens, On the Rocks will see eight of Brisbane’s favourite leading ladies and gentlemen serve up a cocktail of rock and roll hits from the 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s – all with a live band.

Directed by the company’s Artistic Director Roslyn Johnson and Travis Holmes, On the Rocks will showcase the power-vocals of local musical theatre performers Lauren Lee Innis-Youren, Row Lea Blackshaw, Sophia Dimopoulos, Jermia Turner, William Boyd, Travis Holmes, David Harrison and Scotty Fulton. In the latest of a series of sell out shows, the team rolls through tracks from Blue Suede Shoes to It’s all coming back to me now and promises a rock anthem for everyone. The four piece rock band (Faron Swingler, Aaron Griffiths, Jesse Harris and Jarrod Rehbein) is loving the opportunity to rock around the clock with this lively crew and deliver some old classics – with a twist!

Performed in a warehouse setting, the show will be an up close and personal rock and roll experience. Whether you like Jon Bon Jovi or Nancy Sinatra – it’s sure to be one hell of a musical cocktail!
