Celebrate 10 years of creating a fairer food system for Brisbane by joining Food Connect at its community street party at the Salisbury homestead. The social enterprise is partnering with awesome friends RegenAg, who are presenting leading sustainable farmer Joel Salatin. Gardening Australia’s Costa Georgiadis will be the MC for the night, getting everyone fired up!

Cruise the street party for delicious food stalls organised by Slow Food Brisbane using Food Connect farmers’ produce and grab a drink from Stone & Wood’s beloved beer caravan, Bonnie. Great inter-activities will be happening on the street – think chefs carousel, box relays, apple bobbing and community workshops with special guests like Lock The Gate, Fair Food Brisbane, Northey Street City Farm, the Family Farmers United Network and many others. Live music will come courtesy of talented local artists like Paddy McHugh. Oz Harvest will also be on hand to help raise awareness about food waste.

The street party is open to all via gold coin donation, with tickets available for the speaking sessions inside the homestead.
