Come on over to Coochie on Flinders Day for a journey back in time! Coochiemudlo residents, guest performers and visitors celebrate history and heritage together with market day full of dances, games, and of course with the re-enactment of Matthew Flinders’ landing on Coochiemudlo Island in 1799.

Why not dress in a historical costume and mix in the crowd cheering on the traditional parade?

9:00 am: Markets and food stalls open

10:00 am: Parade

10:30 am: Greetings & Opening Ceremonies

11:45 am approx : Flinders Landing re-enactment

12:15 Quandamooka Dancers with indigenous dancing and story telling

Catch the shuttle bus from the island jetty up Elizabeth St for the last day of the yearly Coochie Art Show at the Recreation Club!
