Fish Lane Festival

Get ready, Fish Lane Festival is back on Saturday May 12, transforming South Brisbane’s iconic laneway into the street party of the year. Kicking off from midday, the third annual festival will make a splash with gourmet bites, premium booze and Brisbane’s best live and local musos. So strap on your party shoes and be there to drink, dance and dine the day and night away with the best Fish Lane has to offer.

Cruising its way from South Brisbane to West End, Fish Lane has transformed this once sleepy industrial corner into a vibrant dining destination, with Aria Property Group at the helm. New foodie flavours have been added to the mix this past year, with Ol’ School, Nom on Melbourne and Kiss the Berry all set to make their pop-up debut at the festival – along with new urban artworks from Elizabeth Woods and Kevin Leong.

From lunchtime until late, festival-goers will be able to explore Fish Lane with an ice old beverage in hand, taking in modern artworks in between gourmet street eats, and getting down to some of Brisbane’s best emerging live bands and DJs.

This year’s hanger curing foodie line-up includes pop-ups from:

  • The Fox Hotel
  • Five Sisters Cafe
  • Billykart Bar
  • Bird’s Nest Restaurant
  • Chu the Phat
  • Gelato Messina
  • Julius Pizzeria (Mangia Mangia Street Goods)
  • Kiss the Berry
  • Ol School
  • Nom on Melbourne
  • Saccharomyces Beer Cafe
  • 31 Degrees Custom Chocolates
Beyond the food, punters can get into the the festival spirit with craft beers flowing from Colonial Brewing Co, wines by Innocent Bystander and Brown Brothers, as well as pop-up cocktail bars, including Tanqueray Gin Garden and Pimms Caravan. Proudly presented by Colonial Brewing Co, The Fox Hotel and Aria Property Group, Fish Lane Festival is a free, fully licensed 18+ event. Minors are welcome but must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times.
