ASRC (Asylum Seeker Resource Centre) and Amnesty International are proud to host Finding Freedom – an art exhibition of competition entries at Jugglers Art Space for Refugee Week 2017. Brisbane artists have responded to the theme of creating works with a vision of freedom, fairness and safety for people seeking asylum. The exhibition features the work of 24 artists, from all different backgrounds, in all different styles including is sculpture, film and animation, collage, drawing, salvaged art, printmaking, and painting.

The opening night will be on Friday June 16 from 6:00–9:00 pm where winners will be announced, a cash bar will be open and canapes available. A ‘Meet the Artists’ session will be happening on Sunday June 18 from 4:00–7:00 pm with a light meal, music and a live podcast happening for $10 on the door.

The exhibition runs from June 13–20 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm daily.
