The Family History Open Day will feature experienced researchers to help you start, or progress, your family tree.

There will also be a tour of the rich resources held within the library’s collections, representatives from the special-interest groups (such as the DNA; German; English/Irish; Scottish; Writing; Scandinavian; Family Tree Maker; Legacy & Convict Connections Groups) will be available to help, representatives from Queensland Registry of Births Deaths and Marriages, Queensland State Library, Queensland State Archives, National Archives of Australia and much more.

The Genealogical Society of Queensland (GSQ) provides advice and resources to family historians who are tracing their family trees.
